Korkunç iddia

Tatil için Marmaris’e gelen bir İskoç ailenin 17 yaşındaki kızına, kaldıkları otelde tecavüz edildiği ve olayın ardından genç kızın psikolojik travma geçirmesi üzerine, ailenin şikayetçi olamadan İskoçya’ya döndüğü öne sürüldü.
İskoç Daily Record gazetesinin internet sitesindeki habere göre kimlikleri açıklanmayan turistler, 2 haftalık tatil için geldikleri Marmaris’te bir aile oteline yerleşti. Tarihi açıklanmayan, ancak ailenin otele yerleşmesinden 24 saat sonra meydana geldiği öne sürülen olay, anne ve baba alt kattaki otel barında içki içerken yaşandı.

KANLAR İÇİNDE YATARKEN BULUNDU

Üst katlardaki odasına çıkmak için merdivenleri kullanan genç kız, ’onarım görevlisi’ olduğu iddia edilen bir kişinin tecavüzüne uğradı. İsmi açıklanmayan bir kaynağın gazeteye verdiği bilgiye göre olay saat 21.00 ya da 22.00 sularında, yani fazla geç olmayan bir saatte yaşandı.
Daily Record’daki haberde, saldırganın, bağırmasını engellemek için eliyle kızın ağzını kapattığı ve daha sonra da tecavüz ettiği genç kızı asansör boşluğuna atıp ölüme terk ettiği öne sürüldü. İddiaya göre kızın çığlıklarını duyan otel personeli genç kızı asansör boşluğunda şoka girmiş vaziyette, kanlar içinde yatarken buldu. Olay yerine gelen polis ve ambulans ekipleri genç kızı hemen hastaneye kaldırdı.

’TÜRK YETKİLİLER PARA TEKLİF ETTİ’ İDDİASI

Gazetedeki habere göre, annesi, babası ve erkek kardeşiyle birlikte geldiği Marmaris’te tecavüze uğradığı iddia edilen kızın ailesi, arkadaşlarına "Türk yetkililer bize nakit para teklif etti" iddiasında bulundu. Polisin, tecavüz zanlısının kim olduğunu bildiği öne sürülen haberde, Türk polisinin İskoç aileye, "Şikayetçi olmak istiyorsanız Türkiye’de kalmanız gerekir" dediği savunuldu. Ancak genç kız olay nedeniyle ağır bir şok yaşadığı için turist aile, tatili erken bitirip İskoçya’ya geri dönmek zorunda kaldı ve bu nedenle şikayetçi olamadı.

İNGİLİZ KONSOLOSLUĞU: OLAYI BİLİYORUZ AMA YORUM YAPAMAYIZ

Aileye yakın kaynakların iddiasına göre polis, İskoçya’ya dönüşünde bu tecavüz olayından kimseye bahsetmemesini garantiye almak için genç kıza bir belge imzalatmak istedi, ancak kız bunu kabul etmedi. İsmi açıklanmayan kaynak gazeteye yaptığı açıklamada, "Çok korkmuş olsa da, o şimdi herşeyi geride bırakmak istiyor" dedi.
Daily Record’daki habere göre, dün gece Marmaris’teki İngiliz Konsolosluğu’ndan yapılan açıklamada, "Olaydan haberimiz var, ama yorum yapacak durumda değiliz" denildiği kaydedildi.

A SCOTS teenager was raped and thrown down a lift shaft in a tourist town in Turkey.

The girl was attacked by a maintenance worker and left for dead yards from her hotel room in the Mediterranean resort of Marmaris.

The 17-year-old - on holiday with her parents and brother - was rushed to hospital after she was found lying in a pool of blood. She was so traumatised, her family cut short their two-week trip and flew home.

A source said: 'The girl was raped in the hotel as her parents sat in the bar downstairs.

'She had been on her way up to her room - you would have thought you would be safe in a family hotel. It wasn't even late, it was only about nine or ten o'clock. It was a brutal attack and the family are really upset.'

The family have told friends that the Turkish authorities offered them a cash sum.

And they were told no charges could be brought against the suspect unless the girl stayed in Turkey.

A source close to the family said: 'The man who attacked her is apparently a maintenance worker and police know who he is.

'But the cops said the family would have to stay on in Turkey if they wanted to press charges. Obviously, they just wanted to get back home - so they were left with no choice but to drop the case.'

The girl was raped just 24 hours after the family, from the west of Scotland, arrived in Marmaris.

Screams They were enjoying a relaxed dinner in the hotel bar when the girl decided to go back to their room.

The attacker covered her mouth in a bid to smother her screams as he brutally raped her and threw her down the lift shaft.

But her cries for help alerted hotel staff who called the police and an ambulance after they found her bleeding and in shock.

Family friends say the authorities tried to make the girl sign a form which would stop her discussing the rape when she got back to Scotland - but she refused.

The source added: 'She just wants to put this behind her now, though she is obviously shocked and frightened.

'But this man is a danger to holidaymakers and the rape should be highlighted. It would be horrific if he went on to rape somebody else.'

Last night, the British consulate in Marmaris said: 'We are aware but not in a position to comment.' The number of tourists raped in holiday resorts is rising, with more and more attacks in Turkey.
